Anna's Mocha Monique

We feel very fortunate to be intrusted with the care of this amazing mare who is a matriarch of the breed. She is a rare, 2nd Generation, 50%, Tobe, black mare whose sire is, Sewell's Sam, and her dam is, Anna's Black Beauty, by Robinson's Sundown Rocky, out of, Neace's Blue Lady. Below is a picture of her at age 17, she is truly 2nd to None!!! Monique, is half sister to some of the Top producing Sires, in the breed, such as; Buddy Roe, Broken Bone's Sam's Son, Toco Sam, etc... She was our very first Rocky Mountain mare, and we were hooked from there. She is everything you could ask for; a very dependable, smooth trail horse, an awesome mother, a peace keeper of the herd, not to mention beautiful to look at.

Daughter of Yankee

Another matriarch of the breed. She is a direct daughter of, Yankee, (Ragtime), by Tobe, out of a, Johnson's Toby, mare. She is the dam of the famous stallion, "Black Bart". "Daughter of Yankee", is a gorgeous chocolate mare that is, 2nd Generation, 41% "Tobe". In the picture below, she is still a Beauty at the age of 19!!! "Yankee" is producing very athletic show quality foals with a solid four beat gait. See the "2008 Foals", page for the opportunity to purchase her new filly, sired by, The Comet, an incredible, 44% Tobe, buckskin, stallion, Daughter of Yankee, has been DNA tested and does not carry the red gene.

Fry's Gliding Lass

"Fry" is one of the sweetest horses you will ever meet. She is the dam of SRF'S Silver Sundown, the 2006 KMSHA International 3YO stallion Classic Pleasure Champion and Internaional 2 & 3YO Conformation Reserve Champion, and 2007 International Reserve Conformation Champion. When we purchased this bay mare from Stoner Ridge Farm, she had been used as a broodmare for over 5 years, and had not been ridden during this time. Before we would purchase her, we wanted to make sure she would gait properly. Robert, the owner, pulled her out of the pasture, put a saddle on her back, and she rode like it was an everyday thing. Her gait is smooth as silk!!!! She is a proven producer of Champions, and she has thrown a variety of color including palomino, buckskin, bay, and chocolate "Fry" has some very rare bloodlines, including Jock, Woosley's Rocky, Johnson's Toby, Dixon's Cocoa etc...
