Our Farm
We are located 45 minutes North of Little Rock, and about 30 minutes East of Conway, in the foothills of the beautiful, Ozark Mountains, in Romance, Arkansas.
Our main focus is on, maintaining the calm, willing disposition, that makes the "Rocky", a perfect family horse. Our stock includes, bloodlines, that are rare, and very close to, "Tobe", (the foundation sire). We researched the, Rocky Mountain Horse, very thoroughly before purchasing our first mare, which was a blessing, she is one, of the last few daughters, remaining by, Sewell's Sam. "Sam", is considered to be the gentlest son of, "Tobe", and this trait is definately passed on to his descendants. We also have a direct daughter of, Yankee, (Ragtime), which is also a, son of, "Tobe". Our mares are proven producers of, World & International Champion, offspring. We have found, that mares are the backbone of the farm, and influence their foals by, as much as, 70%. We have a small number of foals each year that are imprinted, handled, and loved daily. We provide the best quality care and nutrition to ensure that the foals are healthy & strong. Because these foals are so gentle and intelligent, it makes training them a pleasure. Our breeding program also includes, 3 Stallions, with bloodlines, as high as 50% "Tobe".
Even though Rockies, are known for their chocolate colored bodies with white or flaxen mane & tail, they come in a variety of beautiful, colors. We breed for great minds, beautiful conformation, a gentle spirit, and a solid four-beat gait. We believe, "A Good horse is Never, A bad color"!!! We are selective breeders, who want nothing more than to preserve all the unique and wonderful, charecteristics, of this amazing breed, for ALL, to enjoy.
